Admin Assistant and Receptionist - INTERN (FRESH GRADUATES ONLY)

Full job description

To provide administrative and clerical functions for the school and its staff. Note - The position is a voluntary role. As such, it does not include a salary or financial compensation. Preference is given to fresh Graduates.

The Person

Previous internship experience in Schools preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree (must have graduated within last 12 months)

Excellent IT skills, particularly with MS Office

Excellent communication skills

Well organized

Able to work independently

Good English Language skills

Main Duties:           

A range of support functions including, but not limited to:                                                                                      

Reception and hospitality towards visitors to the school, offering warmth and promoting a welcoming image

Ensuring all visitors are signed in and out of the school

Escorting visitors around the premises when necessary

Take and relay messages and answering questions from parents and visitors

Photocopying, laminating, filing, binding, collating, etc

Control inventory relevant to reception area

Assisting other Office Staff with administrative tasks

Helping with Registration and adding events to school calendar

To help with Late Registrations.
