Al Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection, a prestigious 5-star beachfront property in the heart of JBR, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Director of Sales – Leisure to join our Sales & Marketing team.

About the Role

As the Assistant Director of Sales – Leisure, you will play a key role in driving the leisure segment strategy and revenue growth. You will be responsible for managing leisure accounts, developing strong business relationships with global travel partners, and leading initiatives to maximize occupancy and market share within the competitive luxury hospitality landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement leisure sales strategies aligned with the resort’s overall business objectives.
  • Manage key leisure accounts (local, regional, and international) and expand the portfolio through new partnerships.
  • Lead negotiations, contracting, and account management with travel agencies, tour operators, and online distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with Revenue and Marketing teams to optimize pricing, promotions, and distribution.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Mentor and guide the Leisure Sales team to achieve revenue targets and enhance customer relationships.
  • Represent the hotel at major trade shows, roadshows, and client events, both locally and internationally.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive sales experience in luxury hospitality, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in leisure sales and strong market knowledge of key feeder markets (Europe, CIS, GCC, Asia).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
