Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling & Storage
  
  

Assist in receiving, inspecting, and verifying all incoming civil construction materials against purchase orders/delivery notes.

Ensure proper storage, stacking, and labeling of materials as per company guidelines.

Support in arranging materials in a safe and accessible manner to prevent damage or loss.

• Issuance & Documentation
  
  

Assist in issuing materials to site staff as per approved requisitions.

Maintain accurate records of materials received and issued in coordination with the Store Keeper.

Update daily stock registers or ERP systems.

• Inventory Control
  
  

Assist in conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies to the Store Keeper.

Support in monitoring minimum stock levels and notifying shortages in advance.

Help in preventing wastage, pilferage, or misuse of materials.

• Site Coordination
  
  

Liaise with site supervisors/engineers for timely material issuance.

Follow up with suppliers for pending deliveries in coordination with the procurement team.

Report damaged, expired, or non-conforming materials.

• Compliance & Safety
  
  

Follow all safety procedures while handling construction materials.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store area.

Requirements

Comply with company policies, ISO standards, and audit requirements.

Education

High school / SSLC or equivalent (technical background preferred).

Experience

1–3 years in store operations (construction/civil industry experience preferred).

Familiarity with UAE civil construction materials, specifications, and storage practices.

Skills

Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP systems is a plus).

Good communication in English (Arabic/Hindi advantage).

Physical ability to handle manual lifting and moving of materials.

Other

UAE driving license is an advantage.

Willingness to work at project site locations and in varying weather conditions.
