Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our go to market strategy in Qatar, while also overseeing the development of our internal cyber security offerings and serving as the technical and client‐facing lead on key projects. This role requires a seasoned business developer and a hands-on cybersecurity expert, with a proven track record in the Qatari market.
Primary Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
• Leads and manages multiple cybersecurity programs and projects, overseeing cross-functional teams of professionals and specialists across divisions.
• Defines and executes the commercial strategy to meet aggressive revenue targets and drive market expansion.
• Identifies, qualifies, and closes new business opportunities with government agencies, large enterprises, and system integrators in Qatar and the GCC.
• Develops a portfolio of clients by building and nurturing strategic relationships with senior stakeholders of both existing and prospective accounts.
• Forges and manages strategic alliances (e.g., OEMs, distributors, technology partners) to strengthen and diversify the cybersecurity service ecosystem.
• Takes lead in high-stakes client negotiations and contributes to or manages the development of proposals, including solution design and pricing.
• Presents complex technical reports and strategic findings to senior stakeholders in collaboration with Partners and Directors, enabling informed business decisions.
• Assesses market trends and evolving client needs to enhance service lines such as advanced threat hunting, managed detection & response, and cloud security assessments.
• Collaborates with R&D teams and regional Centers of Excellence to integrate cutting-edge technologies like XDR, Zero Trust, and Deception Technology into service offerings.
• Serves as the primary technical authority during presales engagements, leading client workshops, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions.
• Oversees project implementation, ensuring quality, managing risk, and maintaining client satisfaction through consistent delivery and compliance.
• Maintains a deep awareness of the competitive landscape, regulatory frameworks, and emerging cybersecurity threats across the region.
• Manages scope and ensures timely, high-quality deliverables aligned with client expectations and business objectives.
• Establishes internal training and certification programs to build delivery capability and upskill cybersecurity teams.
• Identifies development needs within the team and provides coaching, mentoring, and stretch assignments to attract, retain, and grow top talent.
• Builds constructive, collaborative relationships across internal functions and external stakeholder groups, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Reports regularly to leadership on key metrics including pipeline value, win rate, client satisfaction, and competitive positioning.
Qualification and Experience:
• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT services, including at least 5 years in a senior commercial or technical leadership role based in Qatar.
• Demonstrated success in closing large-scale, high-impact deals with government and enterprise clients.
• Background in management consulting and digital transformation, with the ability to align technical delivery with business value.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; able to influence at C-level and lead diverse delivery teams across complex environments.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities; able to translate complex challenges into actionable, innovative digital solutions.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills tailored to executive audiences; capable of managing stakeholder expectations and driving consensus.
• Strong project management expertise; able to handle multiple priorities, ensure timely execution, and manage risks effectively.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and frameworks, including SIEM/SOAR, IAM/PAM, EDR/XDR, cloud security, and network defense.
• Hands-on experience with solution architecture, technical delivery, and post-implementation client support.
• Familiarity with Qatar’s regulatory framework (e.g., QCB IT Security Standards, Personal Data Protection Law, QCSF, NIA).
• Relevant certifications (mandatory/desirable): CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, GIAC, TOGAF, or vendor-specific credentials (e.g., Palo Alto, Microsoft, Google).
• Fluency in English (C1+); proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
