About the role: We, at Turing, are looking for business analysts who can identify business issues and possibilities for product/service enhancements, and address them using analysis to offer strategic or tactical suggestions. Job Responsibilities - - Apply expertise in data cleaning & wrangling, quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers - Partner with product, operation, and engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities - Inform, influence, support, and execute our product decisions and product launches - Creating and assessing trials, as well as forecasting and defining product team goals - Monitor important product KPIs and figure out what's causing them to change - Create dashboards and reports based on business requirements - Creating and analyzing dashboards and reports, constructing critical data sets to enable operational and exploratory analysis, and reviewing and establishing KPIs are all tasks that need to be completed - Proposing new features for the next roadmap, as well as gaining a better grasp of ecosystems, user behavior, and long-term trends - Developing models of user behavior for analysis or to power production systems, as well as identifying new levers to help shift critical metrics - Presentation of data-based suggestions to product teams in order to influence them - Helping analytics and product teams to implement best practices, as well as communicating the health of the company, experiment findings, and other information to product teams Minimum Requirements - - Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree/MA or Ph.D. with a focus in Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, or Engineering - 3-8 years of experience in Business Analytics - Ability to structure business requirements into a series of analysis and perform quantitative data analysis, write reports, and present findings - Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, MATLAB) - Applied statistics or experimentation (i.e. A/B testing) in an industry setting - Ability to communicate the results of the analysis to product or leadership teams to influence the strategy - Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers - Work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
