Dental Nurse / Dental Assistant job in DHA

Position: Dental Nurse / Dental Assistant

About the Role

You will support dentists during clinical procedures and ensure safe, efficient, patient-centred care across the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Chairside assistance for procedures and minor surgeries
• Instrument processing: sterilization, tray set-ups, and infection-control compliance
• Dental radiography (if qualified): taking and developing X-rays
• Accurate documentation: update treatment notes and maintain patient records
• Patient education: oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions
• Patient preparation and comfort monitoring throughout visits
• Cross-functional support at the front desk as needed
• Stock control: monitor supplies and dental materials, coordinate replenishment
• Adhere to clinic policies, health & safety, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• DHA license or DHA eligibility (mandatory)
• Certificate/Diploma in Dental Nursing / Dental Assisting / Dental Hygiene
• UAE dental clinic experience (min. 1 year preferred)
• Strong organizational & interpersonal skills; team-oriented attitude
• Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Familiarity with dental software is an added advantage
