Job Description
Sustenir Agriculture, a leader in sustainable indoor farming, is looking for passionate and dedicated Gardeners to support the cultivation and care of fresh produce in our high-tech, climate-controlled vertical farm in Singapore. As a Gardener, you will play a vital role in planting, maintaining, and harvesting crops that are sustainably grown and pesticide-free.This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with plants, are detail-oriented, and want to be part of a mission-driven company that supports local food systems and environmental sustainability.
Job Responsibilities
Perform planting, pruning, and harvesting of leafy greens and herbs
Monitor crop health and report any signs of disease or pests
Assist with daily watering, nutrient application, and lighting adjustments
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in growing areas to meet food safety standards
Maintain tools and gardening equipment in good working condition
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
Support greenhouse or indoor farm operations, including vertical growing systems
Work collaboratively with the farming and production teams to meet harvest targets
Education & Qualifications
Minimum Primary School education
Prior to gardening, farming, or landscaping experience preferred but not required
Basic understanding of plant care and hygiene practices
Physically fit and able to lift to 15kg
Willing to work in indoor farming environments with humidity and controlled lighting
Team player with a positive attitude
Able to understand and follow safety and cleanliness protocols
Salary & Benefits
Monthly Salary: SGD 1,800 – SGD 2,400
