We are innovators, committed to redesigning and improving public services to fulfil our purpose to impact a better future by "Bringing National Visions to Life".  Your OpportunityWe are looking for HVAC Technician to carryout preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on Mechanical / HVAC equipment and systems, individually or as part of a technical team, within a designated area, whilst ensuring minimal disruption to the operations. An ideal candidate should carry out all technical and safety rules to ensure compliance with business standards. The role will be based in Dubai Airports. Key accountabilities<ul style="margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in;"><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; background-color: white; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Ability to conform to all general and specific technical safety requirements at all times to ensure the health, safety & welfare of self and others at work</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; background-color: white; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Any other work as assigned by the supervisor / duty engineer to achieve the purpose.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; background-color: white; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Good Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS)</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; background-color: white; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Can read interpret and describe the functionality of HVAC system drawings (circuit & wiring diagrams / schematic & layout drawings) irrespective of manufacturer</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; background-color: white; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Can correctly setup and use test equipment and interpret the test results on standalone and integrated HVAC systems, to include: Manifold Gauge, Digital Multi meter, Clamp Meter, Temperature / Humidity Meter, Vacuum Gauge and Refrigeration Leak Detector.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; background-color: white; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Knowledge in the use & interpretation of Local and International Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Standards and Regulations</li></ul>Specific requirements<ul style="margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in;"><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; background-color: white; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Minimum 3 year experience within a Facility Management or similar environment.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; background-color: white; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Ability to communicate with staff, stakeholders and customers in oral and written English </li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; background-color: white; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Ability to construct technical reports and spreadsheets and presentations using MS Office (Word / Excel / Power point).</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; background-color: white; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Ability to perform safely and correctly the following on complex air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC) equipment and systems.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; background-color: white; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Electrical & Mechanical Isolations and LOTO.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; background-color: white; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Planned preventative maintenance (PM) routines</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; background-color: white; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Corrective maintenance (CM)</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; background-color: white; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Breakdown maintenance (BD), to include: Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, Exhaust, Fresh Air and Extraction Fan, Air Conditioning Systems, Package Units, Ducted Split Units, Decorative Split Units, Window Units, Computer & Server Room Air conditioning Units (CRACUs) and Humidifiers & Dehumidifiers.</li></ul>Join UsAt Serco, we believe there is a place here for everyone.
