A fast-growing company in the advanced technology and manufacturing sector is seeking an Inventory and Logistics Manager. This role will lead inventory operations and shipping/receiving activities on-site, ensuring material accuracy, optimized storage, and smooth coordination of parts and assemblies across facilities.
The manager will oversee the full cycle of inventory and logistics, build scalable processes, and support engineering, production, and operations by ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time.
MUST have a background in aerospace, defense, automotive, or advanced manufacturing industries

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end inventory management: receiving, storage, issuing, kitting, and cycle counting
  • Maintain and improve inventory accuracy, traceability, and accountability in ERP systems
  • Coordinate inbound supplier shipments and outbound logistics to customers, test sites, and operations
  • Develop and refine workflows for warehousing and shipping/receiving
  • Collaborate with supply chain, production, and quality teams to ensure materials availability
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and scalability
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a logistics team

Job Requirements
  • Proven experience managing inventory operations with strong accuracy and accountability
  • Background in aerospace, defense, automotive, or advanced manufacturing industries
  • Candidates must meet ITAR regulation as an US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Deep knowledge of inventory control principles and ERP/MRP systems
  • Hands-on experience with shipping, receiving, and logistics operations
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Experience managing or mentoring team members

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools
  • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations, including hazardous materials
  • Experience scaling warehouse or logistics functions in high-growth environments

Salary range: $150K-$170K DOE
