Junior Finance Analyst - Middle East

Role and Responsibilities: We are looking for a Junior Finance Analyst to join our agile team in the Middle East region. In this role, you will be based in Doha, supporting mainly our existing operations in Qatar, and supporting development in other ME operations. You will act as business partner to the Middle East Finance Manager and interact regularly with CAE International teams. This role is ideal for individuals with proactive thinking and a desire to develop skills in various finance areas. Key Tasks: - Participate in the month-end close process in Oracle R12 and HFM. - Provide accounting analysis support on various issues. - Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow variance analysis. - Respond to inquiries from Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, and Corporate. - Consult on new business transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment. - Ensure compliance with standard processes and policies. - Work on special projects across teams. - Contribute to financial forecasting and performance analysis. - Assist in annual budget preparation. - Maintain financial models and identify business risks/opportunities. - Prepare reports and presentations for senior management. - Track KPIs and maintain financial forecasts. - Assist in preparation of local tax returns. - Other tasks as agreed with the Finance Manager. Qualifications and Experience: - Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) preferred. - 1 to 3 years' experience in a finance analyst role. - Experience in monthly/quarterly reporting and Oracle R12/HFM. - Strong management and finance knowledge. - Able to implement best practices in an expanding business. - Strong communication and time management skills. - Analytical thinking and attention to detail. - Knowledge of Middle East culture is a plus. - Proficient in Microsoft Office. - Fluent in English.
