Junior Lab Technician – Asphalt Background

We are seeking a *Lab Technician* with hands-on experience in *asphalt material testing* to join a well-established asphalt operation company. The role includes conducting tests at the plant and site, preparing accurate reports, ensuring calibration of lab equipment, and supporting production teams by maintaining high-quality standards.

*Key Responsibilities:*

• Perform sampling and testing of materials (aggregates, bitumen, asphalt) as per approved procedures
• Prepare and sign off test reports
• Ensure lab equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
• Report test results, including failures, to supervisors
• Adhere strictly to safety and quality standards

*Requirements:*

* 2–4 years’ experience in civil/asphalt lab testing

* Familiar with AASHTO, ASTM, BS, BSEN, QCS standards

* Knowledge of Ashghal/QCS specs is preferred
