Laboratory Technician
Location: Qatar

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to perform routine veterinary laboratory testing under the supervision of the Diagnostic Laboratory Manager. The role involves preparing and analyzing biological samples to support clinical diagnosis in registered horses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform biochemical, hematology, parasitology, urinalysis, and endocrinology lab tests
• Set up, run, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment
• Ensure compliance with laboratory standards and quality management
• Maintain inventory and supplies; generate reports on lab results and performance
• Assist with scientific research and data analysis using basic statistics
• Support interns, externs, and visiting veterinary staff as needed
• Use Lab Information Management System and Veterinary Management System
• Assist with laboratory accreditation, validation, and quality processes
• Communicate effectively in English; Arabic is an advantage

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology or Medical Technology
• Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience
• Good spoken and written English skills
• Basic computer skills for medical records management
• Qatar Council of Health Care Practitioner (QCPH) License is a plus
