Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include preparation of material inspection reports to identify any defects in raw materials and prepared goods.
Cross-checking of Material Test Certificates (MTC) with the received materials to verify their authenticity and consistency.
Preparation of dimension checks to ensure that all components meet the required specifications.
Key Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is essential.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in QA/QC within the steel fabrication industry, showcasing a strong understanding of welding and materials science.
Certifications such as AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor are highly preferred.
Experience working with international standards like ASME, ASTM, and ISO standards is mandatory.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications, are necessary.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
