Role: Machine Learning Engineer Internship - NLP Focused
Location: Remote
Duration: 4 months unpaid internship with the potential to convert to a full-time opportunity
Role Summary:
We are seeking a passionate Machine Learning Engineer Intern with interest in NLP chatbot development. As an ML Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and training chat solutions to automate conversations and enhance user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming language, experience in NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy or Transformers, and a proven track record of successful chatbot project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement chatbot solutions to automate conversations and improve user experience
- Analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities
- Develop and maintain chatbot workflows using Python, NLP libraries, and web-based integration scripts
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and provide technical expertise to chatbot projects
- Ensure quality and performance of chatbot solutions
- Provide technical support for chatbot solutions and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance policies
- Stay up-to-date with emerging chatbot technologies and industry trends
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in chatbot development and implementation
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language
- Experience in NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy or Transformers
- Knowledge of chatbot development tools such as Dialogflow, Botpress, or Rasa
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Experience in project management and project delivery methodologies is a plus
