We are seeking an experienced Medical Insurance Officer to join our medical center in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing medical insurance claims, ensuring compliance with insurance policies, and coordinating with insurance companies to facilitate smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Insurance Claims & Processing:

• Handle insurance claims submission, approvals, and reimbursements.
• Review and verify patients’ insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Ensure accurate documentation and coding for insurance claims.
• Follow up on pending claims and resolve any discrepancies.

Coordination with Insurance Providers:

• Liaise with insurance companies for contract negotiations and policy updates.
• Maintain strong relationships with insurance providers to ensure smooth claim processing.
• Stay updated on changes in insurance regulations and policies.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with Qatar’s healthcare and insurance regulations.
• Maintain an organized record of all insurance transactions and agreements.
• Provide periodic reports on claim status, approvals, and rejections.

Patient Support & Communication:

• Assist patients with insurance queries and clarify coverage details.
• Educate patients about their insurance benefits, limitations, and claim procedures.
• Handle patient complaints related to insurance claims and resolve issues effectively.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Mandatory: Previous experience in a medical center handling health insurance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of medical insurance policies, billing, and claim procedures.
• Familiarity with Qatar’s healthcare insurance regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in medical billing software and insurance portals.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: From QAR5,500.00 per month
