Job Title: Paramedic – Private Ambulance Services Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Paramedic to oversee and support the operations of our private ambulance service in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading clinical activities, managing ambulance operations, and providing high-quality patient care during inter-facility transfers, medical events, and emergency response scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
Take lead in managing day-to-day ambulance operations including vehicle readiness, and equipment checks.
Ensure compliance with Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) and local regulations for ambulance services.
Act as a point of contact for coordination with hospitals, clinics, and event organisers.
Patient Care & Transfers:
Deliver high-standard pre-hospital care to patients during routine and emergency transfers.
Manage patient handovers with healthcare facilities and ensure proper documentation.
Supervise and guide EMTs and junior paramedics during transfers and call-outs.
Event Coverage:
Oversee planning and delivery of medical coverage for public and private events.
Ensure appropriate deployment of medical teams and emergency response plans at venues.
Training & Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular training sessions, drills, and clinical reviews for ambulance staff.
Monitor documentation, infection control, and medication storage protocols.
Report incidents and ensure continuous improvement in clinical standards.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain records, logs, and reports related to daily operations.
Assist in procurement and stock management of medical supplies and equipment.
Requirements:
DCAS-licensed Paramedic
Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed paramedic
Advanced Life Support (ALS), BLS, and PHTLS certifications.
Strong knowledge of pre-hospital emergency care and patient transfer protocols.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts based on operational needs.
Valid UAE driving license (preferred, not mandatory).
Preferred:
Previous experience in the UAE or GCC region.
Experience managing medical services for large-scale events.
