Full job description

Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry

Certified as welding inspector by AWS or CSWIP-Wl.

Quality management work experience in welding & mechanical construction for Oil & Gas facilities.

Confirmed working knowledge of applicable industry standards in welding, piping, and equipment installation such as ASME IX, ASME VIII, ASME/ANSI B31, .3.31.4/31.8, API-686, API RP2A.API-1104 AWS D1.1.

Excellent knowledge of applicable international standards.

5 ~ 6 years experience in inspection preferably in major cross country pipelines.

Good knowledge in welding including weld inspection, preparation of welding procedures, conducting welder qualification tests and procedure qualification tests etc.

Thorough knowledge of Codes & Standards. Knowledge in interpretation of radiographs to applicable Code.

Good knowledge and experience in preparation of QC Dossier.

Confirmed full working knowledge of quality system standards and methods (ISO 9001).
