Product Application Manager

The Product Application Manager IWT_MENA leads the APPL team, working closely with customers and the commercial team to implement high-performance, cost-effective chemical treatments in water utilities. In this role, you will blend your technical expertise with leadership to drive results and innovation in the field. Key Responsibilities   Lead and coordinate the IWT APPL team while providing hands-on technical support: APPL expert responsibilities: 50% APPL team management: 50% Oversee field evaluations of new solutions during research, development, and implementation phases for both global and regional projects (25%). Train and coach local sales teams to boost their application knowledge (25%). Collaborate with Marketing & Sales to identify new opportunities, support customer acquisitions, and lead customer improvement projects (25%). Provide expert auditing, diagnostics, and problem-solving support to help customers optimize their systems and measure performance (25%). Managerial Responsibilities You will manage and mentor the IWT APPL team in the MENA region, fostering collaboration and continuous learning. Qualifications & Skills   Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (e.g., chemistry, cleaning science), or extensive hands-on experience in industrial water treatment. 10+ years of experience in industrial water treatment, ideally with international exposure and commercial understanding. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coach others. Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Proven track record in auditing, diagnostics, and problem-solving. Passion for innovation, with experience in product development and testing. Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and communicate reasons for decisions. Flexible, creative, and solution-oriented approach.
