QA/QC Engineer – Civil Engineering Background

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA/QC Engineer with a strong Civil Engineering background to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within the building construction sector, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor QA/QC systems in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and company policies.
• Review and ensure all materials and workmanship comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams for quality-related matters.
• Conduct inspections and tests as per approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Maintain and update quality documentation, including NCRs, method statements, and inspection reports.
• Lead and support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action planning.
• Ensure all QA/QC reports are submitted in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles in building construction projects
• Valid MMUP (UPDA) Certificate – Grade A, B, or C
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards, ISO procedures, and local regulations
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quality management software

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in working with consultants and main contractors in Qatar
• Knowledge of local authority requirements and procedures
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
