We are seeking qualified candidates to join our team as Salesman, Section Supervisor, Manager & Cleaners.

A supermarket salesman's primary roles include greeting customers, assisting them with product selection, providing information about items, processing transactions at the checkout, restocking shelves, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring a clean and organized sales floor, all while aiming to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities:

Customer interaction
Greet customers warmly and engage with them.
Answer customer questions about products, store policies, and promotions.
Offer product recommendations based on customer needs.
Assist customers in finding desired items on the shelves.
Handle customer complaints and address concerns professionally.

Sales and transaction processing:

Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
Process customer payments and handle returns.
Ensure correct pricing and promotions are applied.
Inventory management:
Stock shelves with merchandise.
Monitor inventory levels and rotate stock to maintain freshness
Identify and report stock discrepancies
Merchandising and product knowledge.
Stay informed about new products and promotions
Understand product features and benefits to effectively answer customer questions
Display merchandise attractively on shelves
Sales goals and performance.
Meet or exceed individual sales targets
Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products
Contribute to overall team sales performance
Important skills for a supermarket salesman.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic math skills for accurate transactions
Knowledge of product placement and store layout
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Customer service orientation.
Flexibility to work different shifts.
