As part of our commitment to excellence, we are expanding our team and seeking an experienced automotive diagnostic expert to lead and enhance our scanning and diagnostic operations.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Scanning & Diagnostic Technician to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in advanced vehicle diagnostics, with a strong background in interpreting fault codes, electronic troubleshooting, and system reprogramming. Candidates with 10+ years of experience will be given strong preference.

This role is strictly indoor-based, working within our fully equipped service center. The technician will play a key role in identifying and resolving complex electronic and software issues across a wide range of vehicle makes and models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced OEM and aftermarket scan tools (Launch, Autel, Bosch, etc.).
• Analyze diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and live data to accurately identify system faults.
• Conduct electronic module programming and software updates (ECU, TCM, ABS, EPB, etc.).
• Perform adaptations, coding, calibrations, and system resets.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to CAN bus communication, immobilizer systems, electronic ignition, and infotainment modules.
• Document findings and provide clear, detailed diagnostic reports and recommendations to the service team.
• Support junior technicians with troubleshooting guidance and training when necessary.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diagnostic technologies and OEM repair protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in advanced automotive diagnostics (10 years is a strong advantage).
• Proven expertise working with American, European, and Japanese vehicles.
• Deep understanding of vehicle electronics, control modules, and communication networks (e.g., CAN, LIN, MOST).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and service manuals.
• Experience with electronic parking brake (EPB), adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and other modern vehicle systems.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, indoor workshop environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Professional demeanor and effective communication skills.
