Store & Receiving Clerk

Job Summary: Receive and stage merchandise by department, mark appropriately for placement in facility, and deliver merchandise to appropriate department. Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts. Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies. Notify manager or supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner. Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock. Inspect deliveries to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality. Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items. Adhere to food safety and handling policies. Organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains. Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash. Report accidents and unsafe work conditions to manager. Follow all company policies and procedures. Maintain clean and professional appearance. Maintain confidentiality and protect company assets. Communicate clearly with guests and co-workers. Develop positive working relationships and support team goals. Comply with quality assurance standards. Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing other manual tasks. Perform other job duties as requested by supervisors.
