Storekeeper – Production Warehouse

Full job description

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, including disposables and fabrication supplies.

Ensure proper labeling and storage of items in designated warehouse areas.

Issue materials to production teams based on job requirements and ensure proper documentation.

Maintain accurate inventory records in the system (manual or ERP-based).

Conduct regular stock counts (cycle counts and full inventory audits).

Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor of low stock or potential shortages.

Follow First-In-First-Out (FIFO) or First-Expire-First-Out (FEFO) practices where applicable.

Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards.

Coordinate with procurement and production departments for timely replenishment.

Assist in unloading/loading of goods and arranging transport when needed.

Maintain records of material movements, including receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.

Report any damaged or expired items to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in warehouse/logistics is a plus.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling procedures.

Familiarity with disposable and fabrication materials is an advantage.

Basic computer skills; experience with inventory management systems is a plus.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Ability to lift and move moderate loads; physically fit.

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
