Truck Driver (Heavy & Light Vehicle – Valid Qatar Driving Licenses Required)
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to transport goods and materials a safe, timely, and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will hold a valid driver’s license (heavy and light), maintain a clean driving record, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, compliance with local traffic regulations, and flexibility with working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate trucks, tractor-trailers, or light vehicles as required for the transportation of cargo or personnel
- Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, stops, and rest periods in accordance with local regulations
- Safely load and unload cargo ensuring secure handling to prevent damage
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times
- Communicate clearly and effectively with dispatchers, clients, and fellow drivers to coordinate transport needs
- Ensure vehicles are kept clean, well-maintained, and in safe operating condition
- Promptly report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays to the appropriate personnel
Qualifications:
- Valid Qatar Driving License for both heavy and light vehicles (mandatory)
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience in Qatar
- Clean driving record and clear background check
- Strong knowledge of truck and trailer operation and basic maintenance
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays
