  1. Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere upon arrival.
  2. Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  3. Provide information to guests regarding hotel facilities, services, and local attractions, promoting upselling opportunities.
  4. Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, striving to exceed their expectations.
  5. Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping, concierge, and reservations, to fulfill guest needs and ensure a seamless experience.
  6. Maintain accurate records of guest information, preferences, and special requests, utilizing the property management system (PMS) effectively.
  7. Process guest payments, including cash handling and credit card transactions, following established procedures.
  8. Assist in managing room inventory and reservations, maximizing occupancy and revenue.
  9. Handle guest luggage and provide porter services when required.
  10. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, ensuring it presents a professional and welcoming image.
  11. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth shift handovers and effective communication.
  12. Adhere to all safety and security protocols, reporting any incidents or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  13. Stay updated on hotel promotions, events, and procedures to provide accurate and timely information to guests.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  2. Previous experience as a hotel receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  4. Warm and friendly demeanor with a genuine passion for providing outstanding guest service.
  5. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  6. Proficiency in computer systems, including property management systems (PMS) and other relevant software applications.
  7. Ability to work well under pressure, handle challenging situations, and maintain composure.
  8. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per business needs.
  9. Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects, such as luggage, as required.
  10. Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and entertainment venues is an advantage.
