Vice President Senior Sales Manager

  • Manage a portfolio of clients,taking a global, regional, and local approach in deliveringeffective Cash Managementsolutions.
  • Responsible for actively calling onclients in partnership with partners across the bank to deepen theGlobal Payments Solutions relationships.
  • Act asthe primary global point of contact and accountability for cashmanagement solutions within yourportfolio.
  • Focused on finding new opportunitieswhile building a trusted advisory status with clients, productpartners, and relationship managers.
  • Drivesinnovation on the Global Payments Solutions we provide unto ourclients.
  • Encourages and shares knowledge tojunior sales staff.
  • Ensuring compliance withregulatory requirements including HSBC’s policies andguidelines.
  • Appropriately assess risk whenbusiness decisions are made, while safeguarding HSBC, its clients,assets, and clients.
  • Manage the processes,infrastructure and resources needed to deliver agreed team plansand targets, identifying and implementing improvements andcollaborating with colleagues to maximize end to end integration,effectiveness and efficiency
  • Maintain a robustand efficient control environment across Global Payments Solutionsto ensure good operational, financial and project management andcompliance with HSBC policy and procedures, together with earlyidentification and effective resolution or escalation of issuesthat arise
  • Lead the development, implementationand maintenance of Global Payments Solutions managementinformation, analysis and reporting framework that supports andinforms timely and effective business management and decisionmaking at all levels
  • Lead the implementationand oversight of Global Payments Solutions policy and governanceframeworks, procedures, practices and standards to ensure quality,effective risk management and regulatorycompliance
  • Ensure the fair treatment of ourcustomers is at the heart of everything we do, both personally andas an organization
  • Display the behaviors thatform part of the HSBC Values and culture and adhering to HSBC riskpolicies and procedures, including notification and escalation ofany concerns and taking required action in relation to pointsraised by audit and/or externalregulators
  • Manage and mitigate operationalrisks in their day to day operations. In executing theseresponsibilities, the Group has adopted risk management andinternal control structure referred to as the ‘ThreeLines of Defense’. The jobholder should ensure theyunderstand their position within the Three Lines of Defense, andact accordingly in line with operational risk policy, escalating ina timely manner where they are unsure of actionsrequired

For this role,HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $128,100.00 and$170,000.00.

The final fixed pay offer willdepend on the candidate and a number of variables, including butnot limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth ofexperience and education, licensing/certification requirements,internal relativity, and specific worklocation.

Requirements

You´lllikely have the following qualifications to succeed in thisrole:

  • Require 5-10 yearsof domestic or international cash management salesexperience
  • Strong knowledge of local andregional cash management and clearing services, products andtechniques
  • Relationship Management experienceat multiple levels plus a proven salesrecord
  • Proven ability in identifying andmeeting customer needs through matching a broad range of productsand services
  • Proven ability to deliver creativeand flexible customer solutions
  • Ability tounderstand a customer’s business and the fundamentals ofrunning a business
  • Good level of businessacumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural,procedural and regulatory issues
  • Excellentinterpersonal skills and ability to interact and buildrelationships with internal and externalstakeholders
  • Excellent time management,planning and organization skills
  • Excellentrange of communication skills, including written, verbal, and theability to deliver compellingpresentations
  • Strong analytical and sellingskills
  • A good understanding of the market& market trends, competitive environment and regulatoryenvironment
  • Bachelor’s DegreeRequired
