Video Editor (Part-time, 1 day per week)

We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor to join us one day a week, editing a mix of talks, panel discussions, promotional clips, and other video assets for our audience of technology professionals. You’ll help ensure every piece of content is polished, engaging, and on-brand.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><span>Edit raw footage (talks, broadcasts, interviews) into polished, professional videos.</span></li><li><span>Add titles, captions, graphics, and brand elements to maintain a consistent style.</span></li><li><span>Balance and clean audio for clarity and impact.</span></li><li><span>Create short-form social edits from longer content where needed.</span></li><li><span>Export final videos in the correct formats for multiple platforms.</span></li></ul><li><br></li><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><span>Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio of relevant work.</span></li><li><span>Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro </span></li><li><span>Understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.</span></li><li><span>Basic audio editing skills for speech clarity and podcast preparation.</span></li><li><span>Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.</span></li></ul><li><br></li><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li><span>Experience creating short-form, social-optimised edits (Reels/TikTok).</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of producing video for multiple devices and platforms.</span></li><li><span>Skills in simple motion graphics or After Effects.</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><ul><li><span>Flexible working hours (just be available for feedback/updates on your edit day).</span></li><li><span>Regular, predictable schedule (same day each week).</span></li></ul><p><br></p>
