Our mission is to service a new breed of brand, to engage a new breed of fan. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong> </p><p>We are looking for a talented, fast-moving <strong>Social-First Videographer and Editor</strong> to join our content production team, supporting one of our most exciting global clients.</p><p><br></p><p>You’ll be responsible for capturing and editing best-in-class video content at some of the world’s most iconic sporting events. From live moments and behind-the-scenes stories to high-impact social edits, your work will shape how fans experience their favourite sports and teams.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a high-energy, hands-on role that requires quick thinking, flexibility, and an eye for storytelling. You’ll need to be comfortable adapting to client feedback, responding to last-minute requests, and working under time pressure to create content that’s polished, purposeful, and platform-optimised.</p><p><br></p><p>If you’re team-oriented, love sport, and thrive in fast-paced environments—this is the role for you.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> </p><ul><li>Capture engaging, social-first video content on location at major global sporting events.</li><li>Edit short-form content optimised for channels like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X—often under tight deadlines.</li><li>Collaborate closely with the wider production and creative teams to deliver against campaign briefs and live needs.</li><li>Respond to real-time requests from clients on-site—turning spontaneous moments into meaningful content.</li><li>Apply client feedback quickly and constructively—updating edits to meet brand tone, platform specs, and creative vision.</li><li>Work flexibly to accommodate event schedules, often including evenings and weekends.</li><li>Travel globally as part of shoot crews—sometimes at short notice.</li><li>Support ideation and contribute to pre-production planning and storyboarding.</li><li>Help get the best out of talent, athletes, and contributors on camera through a calm, professional, and positive approach.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years of experience in videography and editing, ideally in sport, entertainment, or live events.</li><li>A portfolio packed with punchy, social-first content that tells great stories in short formats.</li><li>Confident operating camera equipment on-the-go and in fast-paced environments.</li><li>Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects, Photoshop or Final Cut a bonus).</li><li>Strong understanding of social media trends and how to create content that performs on different platforms.</li><li>Cool under pressure—able to deliver high-quality work at speed.</li><li>Positive, solution-focused, and highly collaborative.</li><li>Experience working closely with clients or stakeholders and responding to feedback quickly and effectively.</li><li>Passionate about sport, culture, and visual storytelling.</li><li>Available for international travel and flexible to work irregular hours around events.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.</li><li>Flexible working environment (hybrid) – 2 days per week at London offices.</li><li>30 days of holiday per year, plus standard Bank Holidays.</li><li>Access to WePlay Academy Training and external knowledge shares.</li><li>Monthly socials and industry event access.</li><li>Enhanced parental leave policies.</li><li>Mental wellness support in MyndUp, including access to the Calm App</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Diversity, Equity & Inclusion</strong> </p><p>WePlay is deeply committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone can thrive.
