Job Summary:

The Warehouse Storekeeper will be responsible for managing the inventory of the finished products, spare parts, and any products related to Diesel Power Generators. This role involves maintaining accurate records, organizing stocks, overseeing deliveries and shipments, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for the production process. The Warehouse Storekeeper will work closely with production and procurement to ensure efficient stock management and smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

• Inventory Control - Maintain accurate stock levels of generator parts, tools and consumables
• Receiving & Dispatching - Handle incoming deliveries, inspect for damage or shortages, and issue items for service/installation
• Documentation - Keep records inventory, stock issuance, and returns and returns in RPP systems or manual logs
• Organization & Storage - Ensure all items are stored in proper locations with proper labeling for quick access and safety
• Coordination - Work closely with procurement, service engineers, and logistics teams
• Received Materials
• Unload and inspect deliveries of Engines, alternators, filters, batteries and other DG components,
• Verify delivery notes and purchase orders
• Stock Management
• Enter stock data into inventory sysmtes
• Conduct daily or weekly cycle counts to avoid stock discrepancies
• Organize shelves and storage bins
• Issue & Dispatch
• Prepare materials and parts needed for service jobs and installations
• Issue tools and generator components to technicians or engineers
• Track issued items and follow up returns
• Monitoring & reordering
• Identify low stock levels and coordinate with procurement for reorders
• Flag slow-moving or obsolete items for management action
• Safety & Cleanliness
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe and compliant with fire and storage regulations
• Handle hazardous materials like oils or batteries properly
• Coordination
• Communicate with service and logistics team to prioritize urgent jobs
• Support urgent part requests from the field team
• Storage & Organization
• Classify and store items by category (e.g. Filters, controllers, engine parts)
• Update storage location in the system for tracking
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness and safety standards
• Inventory Control
• Perform routine cycle counts (daily/Weekly/Monthly)
• Investigate and report inventory variance
• Monitor stock levels and set reorder points
• Assist the procurement in reordering low stock items
• Reporting & Coordination
• Generate daily/weekly inventory status reports
• Report discrepancies if applicable
• Coordinate with procurement, Finance, and Service teams for smooth workflow

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in logistics, warehousing or inventory management is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role, especially in a manufacturing of generator company is a plus
• Proven experience as a store Keeper or in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Familiarity with diesel power generators or mechanical components is a plus
• Must have Knowledge of inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Must know how use functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis tools
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations, logistics and safety protocols
• Ability to lift and move heavy items, as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,300.00 per month
