The ideal candidate will have experience in <strong>fleet maintenance and workshop operations</strong>, ensuring timely repairs, compliance with safety standards, and smooth communication between technicians, supervisors, and vendors.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Coordinate daily, preventive, and urgent maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure fleet readiness. </li><li>Maintain accurate job cards, work orders, and equipment history records using ERP/business systems. </li><li>Liaise with stores and procurement teams to manage spare parts, requisitions, and vendor follow-ups. </li><li>Track warranty claims and coordinate with OEMs, dealers, and service providers for cost-effective repairs. </li><li>Serve as the central point of contact between technicians, supervisors, and operations teams. </li><li>Monitor technician attendance, leave, training, and compliance with HSE requirements. </li><li>Support audits, inspections, and compliance with municipal and organizational policies. </li><li>Promote workshop safety, 5S practices, and a culture of operational efficiency. </li><li>Contribute to KPI monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications & Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related discipline. </li><li>3+ years’ experience in fleet maintenance, workshop coordination, or technical operations, preferably in waste management, utilities, or transportation. </li><li>Hands-on experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and workshop operations. </li><li>Knowledge of ERP/business systems for maintenance documentation and reporting. </li><li>Familiarity with HSE compliance, workshop safety, and vendor/warranty management. </li><li>Strong communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders. <br><br></li></ul>📌 <strong>Note:</strong> Candidates must have <strong>waste management experience</strong>.
