We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Survey CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of survey methodologies, legal descriptions, topographic mapping, and boundary analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Survey CAD Drafter in a professional land surveying or civil engineering environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant CAD software. Experience with MicroStation, GIS, or Trimble Business Center is a plus.
  • Surveying Knowledge: Solid understanding of land surveying principles, legal descriptions, boundary analysis, and topographic mapping.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to interpret complex survey data and produce highly accurate drawings.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with survey teams and project managers.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve drafting-related issues efficiently.
  • Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Certifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Certification in CAD Drafting or Survey Technology (preferred).
  • Experience with National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) and American Land Title Association (ALTA) standards is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
