Overview:
Knight Hotels Group is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial accounting/finance role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment. This position plays a critical role in overseeing the hotel’s financial operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and sound financial management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial accounting/finance role, ideally within a 5-star hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of hotel financial systems, reporting procedures, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Proven ability to manage financial audits, month-end closings, and compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are highly desirable.
